The Secretary's Account Current for the year ending 31st December, 1876, has been audited by Messrs. Kear & Hassell, and is annexed hereto. A falling off of subscriptions will take place from the resignations above reported, but the circulars show an increase of income over last year.

The sum of $600 has been withdrawn from the fixed deposits of $6,499.71, to pay for the expenses of Secretary's visit to Hainan, the publication of his Report, and a refund in connection with the Anti-blockade pamphlet. The balance of $5,899.71 remains on deposit, bearing interest at 5 per cent per annum.
